Trans-Andalucía is your chance to experience Andalucía off the beaten track, to flavour its amazing gastronomy and to soak in the colourful countryside the southern-most region has to offer.
This is an adventure of contrasts yet, at the same time, a perfect balance between rural villages of the Alpujarra region located South of Sierra Nevada, tropical Mediterranean Coast of the Axarquia, lake districts like El Chorro with the most dangerous hike El Caminito del Rey, green scenery of Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, traditional hillside White Villages (pueblos blancos) of Cádiz with virgin beaches of the Atlantic coast and wildlife in Doñana National Park south of Portugal.

Cancellation:
  • Until February 1 2021: refund of the total deposits paid less the non-refundable amount of 3.000 EUR
  • From 2 February 2021 until 17 March 2021: cancellation fee of 50% of the total amount.
  • From 18 March until 17 April 2021: cancellation fee of 80 % of the total amount.
  • From 18 April 2021 until departure: 100 % cancellation fee.

Day 1: Loja

Welcome at La Bobadilla Hotel, a charming and luxury Andalusian country estate where slow travel concept becomes a reality.The hotel is located within easy access from Málaga airport (max. 50 min. drive) and only 60 minutes’ drive from the world-famous Alhambra castle complex.

You will be able to chill by the vast swimming pool, enjoy the SPA, go for a mountain-bike tour or horseback riding in same the property.
Evening welcome briefing at the private Chapel followed by a cocktail and a dinner at La Finca Restaurant.

Day 2: Loja - Villamena

Thursday, 13 May 2021

Check-out and drive through wonderful mountain roads to the Alpujarra region, located South of Sierra Nevada mountain. Enjoy amazing scenery, deserted roads, smooth tarmac, and more twists and bends than you have ever dreamed of.

Lunch is planned in Trévelez, most well-known for its mouth-watering cured ham, ‘jamón’ serrano. Afternoon drive in Sierra Nevada South passing by various rural villages.
Check-in at Wine Estate, an idyllic place to relax after an exhilarating day’s riding.

Visit of its wine cellars, bodegas, followed by a wine tasting and dinner.

Day 3: Villamena - Ronda

Friday, 14 May 2021

Drive inland in the province of Málaga through beautiful white mountain villages such as Frigiliana and Competa offering panoramic views and complete tranquillity through El Chorro region with three lakes and natural parks where lunch is planned. The itinerary continues to Ronda with its impressive gorge and stunning bridge. Check-in and time for a stroll in Ronda.

Day 4: Ronda - Montenmedi

Saturday, 15 May 2021

Today’s trip takes you through Grazalema Natural park, a vast protected area of rugged limestone mountains, which are famous for being the rainiest place in Spain. Under the motto “Vejer saboréala” (Vejer, taste it) tapas lunch based on local products and innovative touches inspired by nouvelle cuisine is a must.

In the afternoon ride along the Cádiz coastline, one of the truly unspoilt areas in Europe, along Cape Trafalgar with views towards the African coastline and passing by fishermen villages.

Day 5: Montenmedio - Sevilla

Sunday, 16 May 2021

A short drive will take you to Sanlúcar de Barrameda at the Delta of the Guadalquivir, the ‘ig river’, or Wada- I-Kebir, of the Moors. The place is very famous for its excellent big prawns and fish and fish where lunch will be served. Afternoon drive in the region of Parque Nacional de Doñana.
